May’s Madness & Joyful June: here comes the sun

We may not have had the weather we hoped for, but May certainly brought sunshine to our lives in other ways. With two RHS Shows to keep us busy, several site visits, a trip to Kew Gardens and more, it’s safe to say that May has been mad but in a fantastic way!

Run for Jake!!

On Sunday 26th May the Landscapeplus family laced our trainers and ran an impressive 72 miles combined for our much-loved Jake! For those that don’t know, Jake - our warehouse manager of 10 years, was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma; a cancerous brain tumour in September 2022. Since then, he has taken on a 13-hour operation, 111 days in hospital, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and rehabilitation to regain his mobility and speech. Oh, and he became a Dad! The purpose of the run was to raise funds for Jake to have additional hydrotherapy sessions which will help promote his recovery and get him back home with his family and back to work!

RHS Shows

Every year we are in awe of what is created in such a short period of time at the RHS Shows and this year was no different. The intricate details, the stories behind each feature and the endless hours of hard work by everyone is beyond inspiring. The RHS Chelsea Flower show is the biggest stage in the world for our industry so a massive well done to everyone involved to make this year another sweeping success. We are so grateful to be involved with every designer and contractor that we support.

Perennial - Kew Gardens

Paul and Sam, along with several other Perennial Partners were invited to Kew Gardens for the Launch of their 2024
Wellbeing Survey. It was great to meet other partners, find out more about the amazing work Perennial do and get a guided tour of Kew! On The Road with in-lite 

 We spent 2 days and evenings filming with the in-lite team for the next episode of their ‘on-the-road’ series. The video will feature an interview with Justin from JJH Landscapes about an incredible project of his, complemented with inspiring footage of the garden by day and night. You’ll learn more about our relationship with the Dutch brand and how together we plan to bring more light into gardens across the UK.
