Events this Spring with Landscapeplus
19/03/2019
At Landscapeplus we've always been keen to provide educational training and information to the industry and last year we committed to this more than ever before with Paul Willavoys stepping into a new, full time role focused on supporting the industry.
Paul, along with various members of our team, spent time travelling the length and breadth of the country to provide talks, training and product demonstrations alongside the APL, BALI and the SGD whilst visiting other independent groups, schools and colleges.
Following the popularity and success of the last year, 2019 is proving just as busy with Paul going to even more trips, supported by some of our team in the shape of Chris, Ryan and Sam.
The year has got off to a flyer and we've already attended talks from Brighton to Belfast! We've had the pleasure of working alongside some other great suppliers within the industry, such as Middlecombe Nursery, Gaze Burvill, and Oase to name a few. We've also focused on hands-on training with our customer base, something that for us is invaluable. After all, how are you expected to specify and install these systems unless someone offers to show you how?
Training aside, Sam and Paul have made an appearance at the Futurescape Spring event; not exhibiting, but taking in what's happening elsewhere in the industry and catching up with loads of familiar faces. It was a useful day with and they even managed to "take 5" in the The Chill Zone (hosted by Garden House Design) but it wasn't long before Paul was looking at an upcoming lighting scheme with Rod (anything for a free coffee!).
The team have also been to the SGD and APL award ceremonies for 2019; again both brilliant events which continue to go from strength to strength with this years winners once more raising the bar for industry standards.
Looking ahead we're going to be furthering our partnership with Oase providing design and construction training for garden designers at various locations across the UK, so if this is of interest get in contact with Paul and he'll be sure you keep you updated when we're going to be in your area.
All this and its only April!
