Hyphae Learning X LSP| A New Partnership

29/10/2024

Landscapeplus is excited to share a brand new collaboration with Hyphae Learning.

Read on to learn more about Hyphae Learning and what this collaboration is all about, it’s an exciting one!

We had the chance to sit down and chat with Jake Catling and Sam Grayson, the co-founders of Hyphae Learning. They visited Landscapeplus HQ to see what was planned for FutureScape 2024, where the platform was launching, as well as what we could expect from the partnership between Landscapeplus and Hyphae Learning. They also had a chance to check out our brand new studio (more on that later!)

The decision was made months ago (perhaps even years) to launch the platform at FutureScape. With the 2024 show set to be bigger and better, it seemed the perfect opportunity to get it in front of as many people as possible, to showcase how the platform works and how everyone within the industry can benefit from it.

You're probably wondering, what is Hyphae Learning? Well, the wait is over...

Hyphae Learning is the industry's first all-in-one digital knowledge hub. It will be the go-to platform for on-demand content to develop your team and enhance your business. The platform will provide the opportunity for industry professionals "to reference technical skills they need, as well as the ability to upskill themselves".

Hyphae Learning aims to develop into a digital learning resource centre created by industry experts to empower the landscaping industry.

The ethos behind Hyphae Learning aligns with the ethos and goals of Landscapeplus, "Making sure that training goes on, and the knowledge is shared with the industry"

So what made Jake and Sam choose Landscapeplus? During a conversation with Paul, Jake revealed that "the shared ethos of wanting to put something back into the industry led us wanting to partner with Landscapeplus". Of course, it was an offer we couldn't turn down. Being huge advocates of sharing knowledge and believers that on-going training is so important to businesses within our industry, it was an easy decision.

Hyphae Learning is aiming to educate across the whole industry, covering a wide range of topics including:

  • Landscape Construction
  • Landscape Design
  • Horticulture
  • Environmental Practices
  • Business
  • Marketing

And so much more!

The Landscapeplus Knowledge Centre

As part of the partnership with Hyphae Learning, we will be launching a new Knowledge Centre on their platform. This will be accessible for anyone to see and use as they wish/need.

We hope the Knowledge Centre will become the go-to resource for industry professionals who are looking to expand their knowledge of garden lighting, irrigation and water feature systems.

Here's what Jake and Sam at Hyphae had to say about the new Knowledge Centre..."Through our partnership with Landscapeplus, we're proud to bring their ethos of "So much more than a supplier" to life by offering expert insights and knowledge designed to elevate your craft and benefit the entire landscaping industry"

Paul agreed about the impact the new Knowledge Centre is going to have. It's all about raising our levels by that 1 or 2% to really make a difference in the industry"

We hope that overtime the new Knowledge Centre "will plug the knowledge gap that they may not get elsewhere".

FutureScape 2024

You may have seen we both exhibited at FutureScape this year, Hyphae Learning for the first time, where they proudly launched their online platform and subsequently their new Landscapeplus Knowledge Centre.

Hyphae also hosted the Landscape Performance Live. This was a 2 day live podcast seminar, featuring industry professionals discussing ways in which they are paving the way for the future of landscaping. This could be through the innovation of new equipment, utilising coaching to better their business, or embedding a culture in the workplace to achieve higher results within the wider team.

This year at FutureScape, our main focus was around our phrase "So much more than a supplier", and sharing what else we can do for our customers. "Things like our Design Support Service, our Training Days & Events, our Knowledge Centre and our passion for building long-term, trust-based relationships with our customers.

As Sam mentioned "for us (Landscapeplus), it's not just about showing people the products we are selling, it's more important to upskill people and give them confidence, which is where our training days and supplier events come into their own".

Sam Grayson (Hyphae S.G) and Sam Cox (Landscapeplus S.C) (this might get confusing), were able to sit down and talk about the partnership some more.

"What are some of the early signs of the partnership you'll be looking forward to seeing?" - S.G

"At the moment, it seems like there are a lot of people out there looking to share knowledge, but everyone is going about it in their own way. Having somewhere where people can go to gain knowledge on a whole host of topics is going to be really positive" - S.C.

"It's really important to be able to signpost people in the right direction to find the knowledge they are looking for, especially as there is already a lot of information out there and it can be easy to get lost!". - S.G.

New Studio at Landscapeplus HQ

This leads us on to the exciting news of our new filming studio we have built at Landscapeplus HQ.

The studio is going to allow us to film a load of content, including product reviews, insights and unboxings, as well as system installations and how-to guides. Keep your eyes peeled and subscribe to our YouTube Channel to keep up to date. If you have any suggestions or something specific you'd like to see, let us know.

Part of our new studio also features a seating area, where we will be inviting customers, suppliers and industry professionals to sit down with us and share their knowledge.

Exciting content lies ahead.
