IN-LITE | The latest fittings & accessories from in-lite
12/08/2024
This year, in-lite are launching a range of new products and we’re super excited to share with you the latest fittings and accessories. It’s safe to say these products all tick the box of being innovative and have certainly sparked interest in the office.
Below we’re going to dive into each product and share a few of our favourite points.
Starting with the TOUCH DIMMER; it might be the only new accessory for now, but trust us when we say it’s a good one.
TOUCH DIMMER
This is a dimming switch that can be placed in-line to enable up to three wall, ceiling or pendant lights to be dimmed. There are 5 settings to choose from, ranging from full brightness to turned off. It can be installed in a variety of ways depending on the application and the light fittings used. Excitingly, the TOUCH DIMMER is compatible with both the standard HUBs and the SMART HUBs as well as with any 12v in-lite, wall, pendant and/or ceiling fittings. There are endless possibilities with the TOUCH DIMMER but we think an ideal situation is to install it in a casual seating or dining area so you can change the brightness to reflect the time of day, mood and use of the area.
You can find more information and a snazzy diagram that shows the range of brightness settings and different ways of installation on our website.
I also did a product review on YouTube where you can see the TOUCH DIMMER working. Click here to check it out.

Next up is a fitting that will look familiar as it is the latest addition to an existing concept.
MINI SWAY WALL and SWAY WALL
As mentioned, these wall lights are the newest fitting in the SWAY concept meaning they use the same 360° frosted light heads as the rest of the SWAY family. Available in two sizes (mini and standard) and two colours (black and pearl grey), you can get really creative with the patterns, combinations and placement of these fittings on the wall, demonstrated below. They are supplied with a mounting bracket that enables the light heads to be fixed to the wall, allowing the beautifully soft wash of light to shine back towards the wall itself. Paired with the TOUCH DIMMER, these SWAY WALL fittings are perfect for playful and informal lighting aesthetic, especially in casual seating areas or feature walls, adding interest to your lighting system.

Moving on to the newest recessed fittings and a completely new concept; introducing the DOTs.
DOT 22 Trimless, DOT 22 with RING 28 and DOT
Although this is a new concept, the DOT fittings are very similar to the FUSION lights. in-lite launched this new concept to future proof this adaptable recessed concept as they are compatible with the new 21v SMART-HUB-300, which, for now, is only available by request on a project by project basis. There are three fittings in this concept: DOT, DOT 22 Trimless and DOT 22 with RING 28. Starting with the largest fitting; the DOT has a cut-out size of 60mm with a 68mm bezel available in black, stainless steel or pearl grey. The DOT 22 with RING 28 and the DOT 22 Trimless share the same size body and cut-out, measuring only 22mm. The difference between these two fittings comes down to the bezel; the DOT 22 with RING 28 has a 28mm bezel available in black, stainless steel or pearl grey while the DOT 22 Trimless, as the name suggests, has no bezel, making it perfect for seamlessly mounting into decking or paving.
These fixtures come alive at night and produce a lovely warm glow of light from their frosted lens, with absolutely zero glare making them ideal for use as marker lights around areas with high traffic such as walkways, paths, decking, or even driveways. They are suitable for drive-over applications and can even be mounted in soft ground using the SPIKE 22 accessory.
You can get more information about the DOT concept on our website.

Like the SWAY WALL, the next fitting might look familiar as it is part of an existing concept. Introducing the MICRO SCOPE, the latest addition to the SCOPE family.
MICRO SCOPE
The MICRO SCOPE is now the smallest fitting in the SCOPE spike spotlight concept. Despite their smaller size and lower lumen output, the MICRO SCOPE has an impressive 2m light range making them ideal for illuminating plants, features and shrubs. The pre-attached spike, allows for the fitting to be easily mounted into soft ground enabling you to nestle it within borders or even planters and large pots (as demonstrated below). Thanks to their 35° beam angle they are perfect for highlighting stems and foliage beautifully with a subtle warm glow.
The MICRO SCOPE is already proving to be popular with our customers and we love its versatility. Their small and sleek appearance means they seamlessly blend in with the surroundings.

Last but not least is a brand-new concept, the AIM. If we really had to choose, this is perhaps our favourite one out of this selection.
AIM Spike Spotlights and AIM CEILING
This brand new concept family is very clever and is designed around a modular platform. With the ability to add LIGHTHEADs (up to a maximum of 3 LIGHTHEADs per fitting), they are extremely versatile and can be easily customised to suit a wide range of applications. Available in three riser heights; 160mm, 400mm or 800mm, and supplied with a heavy-duty stake for mounting into soft ground, the AIM spike spotlights are ideal for illuminating paths, planting, trees, features and more. In keeping with the values of an in-lite concept, this isn’t the only fitting in the AIM family.
The AIM CEILING boasts the same features, look and feel as the Spike Spotlights. However, instead of a spike for ground mounting, they feature a base for wall/ceiling mounting. This makes them incredibly versatile, with numerous potential uses ranging from an adjustable wall spot, to downlighting pergolas or outdoor buildings. The LIGHTHEADs can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, emitting a 35° beam of light that projects approximately 3.5m and feature a built-in KILLFLASH honeycomb lens to help reduce glare. To add more LIGHTHEADs, you simply remove the small cap, push the additional LIGHTHEAD into place, then replace the cap; there is no need for additional cabling.
As we said, this concept is incredibly clever with endless options for highlighting numerous areas from one fitting.
