JULY'S ROUND-UP | Summer Party & a new collaboration

Summer, is that you? And that’s all we’ll say about the weather.

July, what a month it has been. With RHS Hampton Court & Tatton behind us, we’ve been able to reflect on the RHS Show season as whole, and what a season it has been. This year has been record breaking for us with the number of gardens we’ve supported higher than ever. They may be over for 2024 but we know that the buzz around RHS Shows never stops and that plenty of you will already thinking ahead to 2025! Don’t forget to get in touch early for any help and support.

Pro Landscaper Project Awards & Summer Party

Three words: WHAT. A. NIGHT!

I think we speak on everyone’s behalf that attended this year’s Pro Landscaper Project Awards and Summer Party that it was certainly a night to remember. It had everything: good food, inspiring people, great cocktails, a place to boogie, atmospheric outdoor lighting (😉), relaxed atmosphere, and even karaoke. The venue was absolutely incredible and even the weather was on our side! We love sponsoring and being involved with these events as it is a way for us to give back to the industry that we love being a part of. A huge congratulations to all of the finalists and category winners, it’s always a pleasure to be amongst such talent. Well done and a big thank you to the Pro Landscaper team for organising such a wonderful event.

Lighting Install with Lisa Cox

Ryan and Josh visited Lisa Cox, of Lisa Cox Designs, on site to give a helping hand with her first IN-LITE install. This project featured 600mm & 1000mm SWAY lights amongst planting beds with SCOPE spotlights highlighting feature trees. The next phase of the install will see ACE path lights installed to help navigate the driveway and SWAY PENDANTS for mood lighting in the social area.

Entertaining Meets Nature

Callum Corrie, the designer of this stunning garden, was awarded the ‘People’s Choice Best Young Designer Garden’ award at this year’s RHS Tatton Park. Built by the talented team at The Landscape Academy, the ‘Entertaining Meets Nature’ garden was also a Gold medal winner. Congratulations team. Check out the garden here.

The Woodland Trust

Another young Garden Designer to watch out for is Ashleigh Aylett who was awarded the ‘RHS Young Designer of the Year’. This garden was designed and built to encourage visitors to plan native and UK-grown trees. Evergreen Cheshire Ltd were behind the build. They won the Best Construction Award as well as a Gold medal. The Glasshouse Collective…

…is a tailored, high-end, design showcase for outdoor living, with exclusive industry events. We are thrilled to be one of their chosen collaborators and looking forward to hosting training days there and sharing the experience with customers and industry professionals. There are some fantastic companies and suppliers in the collective showcasing a wide variety of products, systems, elements and accessories all curated to inspire gardens and outdoor spaces.

Aqua Eden Training Day

Join us for a morning training session focussing on water feature systems and an overview of irrigation systems at Aqua Eden: the South West’s newest garden centre. Aqua Eden is a sanctuary of beautiful water features, in all sizes, with an on-site shop and design studio. The workshop will run from 9:30-12:30 followed by lunch and a tour. There will also be an opportunity to visit their personal water garden. PLEASE NOTE: this Training Day is aimed at Designers only.
