Oase AquaMax Eco Premium Filter & Watercourse Pumps

Updated across all models in 2024, the new Oase Aquamax Eco Premium pumps are more efficient than ever, reducing running costs significantly in the long term while also generating less noise pollution. Utilising the highest quality magnets to generate their driving force, they are amongst the most efficient and reliable options for moving water available on the market. These pumps are the ideal option for small to medium sized filtration systems thanks to their 11mm solid handling capacity, however they are not just limited for use within filtration systems. They are also perfect for feeding water features, especially those fed from water within ponds, such as watercourses and streams

These pumps feature the built-in Oase EFC technology, or Environmental Function Control. This protects the pumps against blockages and dry running quickly and reliably before lasting damage can be caused. When the pump detects a sudden change in resistance at the impeller, it immediately knows to shut down until the problem can be addressed.

Also included on this range of high quality pumps is the Oase SFC function, or Seasonal Flow Control. This feature is simply turned on/off using the switch on the pump. When activated, this feature measures the temperature of the water flowing through the pump, reducing the pumps flow rate when the water is cooler and, as a result, requires less filtration. This feature saves electricity during the cooler months when the flow rate of water through the filtration system can be reduced without adverse effects on water quality and clarity.

The flow rate on these pumps can also be controlled manually using the Oase Eco Control. This accessory is controlled through the LED interface on the Eco Control unit.

Alternatively, the flow rate can be adjusted through your smart phone through the Oase app. This requires either the Oase Garden Cloud Controller or FM-Master EGC Cloud plus EGC cable and connections. Due to the compact size of the AquaMax Eco Premium pumps, they only feature an EGC "in" port rather than the standard "in" and "out". For this reason, if any other devices are connected via EGC cable in the same line, a Control Adaptor is required.

These pumps are compatible with the Oase Aquamax Remote Strainers, allowing the flow of water into the pump from both the pump casing itself as well as a remote location connected via pipework. The percentage of water entering the pump from each location can then be adjusted to suit the requirements of each project.

Adding yet more versatility to these pumps, they can be converted to enable dry mounting, allowing the pumps to be hidden in a separate chamber that cannot be seen in the finished water feature or pond.
