In-line Pressure Reducers
We have developed these in-line pressure reducers to automatically reduce the tap pressure to a consistent 1 bar from an inlet pressure of up to 7 bar, and are essential for use with all Porous pipe and drip pipe systems. They are easy to fit, by simply connecting in-line. There are four options:
The maximum flow rate through these in-line pressure reducers is 30 litres per minute, so it is crucial to make sure that the flow requirements of the drip pipe beyond the pressure reducer does not exceed this amount.
When used for drip pipe systems, we recommend positioning the pressure reducer as close as possible to the drip pipe to prevent unintended pressure loss in the feed pipe due to friction.
Each pressure reducer features an arrow that shows the direction of water flow through the fitting. This must be installed in the correct direction.
