ADEZZ Bio Rust Accelerator for Corten Steel

The ADEZZ Bio Rust Accelerator is a specially formulated, organic solution designed to speed up and control the natural oxidisation process of Corten steel. Since all ADEZZ Corten steel products are delivered in their raw, un-rusted state, the typical weathering process can take 4–5 months depending on environmental conditions. With the ADEZZ biological rust accelerator, you can achieve the distinctive orange-brown patina of matured Corten steel in a much shorter time, with results beginning to appear within days or treatment.

Easy to apply, the surface should first be degreased and allowed to dry completely. Then simply spray the accelerator evenly over the metal and spread it using a brush or roller. For optimal and more uniform results, we recommend applying a second coat once the first has dried. A 500ml bottle covers approximately 10m², making this an efficient and eco-friendly solution for transforming your outdoor corten steel features quickly and naturally.

Once the corten has rusted to your liking, we recommend the application of Owatrol rust inhibitor to lock the rusty patina in place, preventing run-off and further corrosion.
