Aquascape EcoWave Pond Pumps

The Aquascape EcoWave pond pumps are a great all-rounder for many applications in the pond. They can be used for feeding filtration systems, waterfalls, fountains and more. Their compact design allows them to be housed within the Signature Series Skimmers to pump water to a BioFalls filter when used in an Aquascape Ecosystem pond, or within a pump vault when used in a Pondless Waterfall application.

The internals of the pump are specially designed to provide high flow rates at low head heights, with a vortex style impellor and smart mag-drive motor ensuring excellent efficiency. As they are designed for high flow and low pressure, Aquascape recommend using the largest possible diameter pipe for each model of pump.

Each EcoWave is supplied with a female threaded 2" to 2" plain PVC adaptor for connecting to either rigid or flexible 2" PVC pipework. For connection to spiral hose, a 2" female threaded hose tail should be used (not inlcuded).

EcoWave pumps are compatible with the Aquascape Dual Union Check Valve 2.0 to prevent backflow from the pipework and BioFalls filter system back into the skimmer and pond in the event that the pump is turned off, for example during maintenance. This check valve elbow can be attached directly to the pump using the EcoWave Adaptor (ASA1982), and then attached to pipework using a hose tail to suit the chosen threaded fitting supplied with the check valve (1½ female thread or 2" male thread).
