ADEZZ YORK Planters - Square - Aluminium
Based in the Netherlands, ADEZZ are world renowned for their high quality and beautifully crafted planters, water features and other garden features. Designed and manufactured in Europe by their expert fabricators, their products utilise high quality raw materials and coatings to ensure the products are built to last.
The ADEZZ YORK planter is specially designed to make placing heavy nursery pots very easy. Thanks to a fully removable sidewall and a smooth floor, the pot can be slid into place without much effort. They are available in a range of materials, finishes and sizes. These aluminium planters are very robust, hard-wearing, weatherproof, low-maintenance and durable.
These YORK planters are available in two sizes, both of which are square in shape. Each planter is constructed with large 90mm tall feet and drainage holes to provide optimal drainage. They feature bottom panels on the planters to keep the soil contained, making them ideal for installation on surfaces like patios, decking and gravel. Alternatively, instead of filling the planter with soil, the removable side wall can be taken off to allow pots to be slid straight into the planter. This is a great option for seasonal arrangements, allowing planting to be done prior to installation. Planting advice (for direct planting):
Constructed from powder coated aluminium, these YORK planters are highly scratch and corrosion resistant. Before powder coating, the aluminium is roughened to provide greater adhesive to the powder coating. There are two powder coat stages for maximum durability; the first is a strong adhesive primer, and the second is the final powder coating finish, available in a wide array of RAL colours as standard. Custom RAL colours can be specified if required, but this does incur an additional cost.
Also available in corten steel.
Due to the size and weight of the ADEZZ range, delivery charge(s) may be applied during quotation which depend on the size and quantity of products chosen. - Cover the bottom of the planter with a layer of gravel (approx. 10 cm deep, Ø 35 mm grading).
- Place a permeable anti-root membrane over the gravel.
- Cover the membrane with soil suitable for your chosen plants.
- Alternatively, an overflow pipe(s) can be used in place of the drainage holes, and hydro grains used instead of gravel, creating a water reservoir. This is only possible with the aluminium planters. Overflow pipes available upon request.
