Ecoo Ecolat Recycled Flexible Pond Edging
Based in Houthalen-Helchteren in Belgium, Ecoo specialise in recycling plastic waste, giving the material a new lease of life and reducing the amount of plastic ending up in landfill. At the heart of Ecoo is an emphasis on sustainability and, as a result, all of their recycled plastics are also recyclable, meaning the materials can be re-used at the end of their lifespan.
Ecolat is manufactured from the aforementioned recycled residual plastic material, making it one of the most sustainable options for creating a perfect edge on your pond or garden bed. This material gives it a long life span with no need for maintenance, as well as being completely rot and splinter free.
Measuring in at 140mm in height, this pond edging is easy and quick to install. Simply hammer the Ecopic stakes into the desired shape of the pond edging, with a spacing of around 0.5m per stake, ensuring all the stakes are level. Then unroll the flexible pond edging before offering it up to the stakes. The pond edging can then be simply fixed to the stakes using screws of your choice. The stakes should be installed on the outside edge of the pond, leaving a beautifully smooth and flush edge inside the pond for the flat-sheet liner to lay over.
Alternatively, this system can be used for edging around garden beds or lawns, fixing and installing in exactly the same fashion.
The flexible edging is supplied in lengths of 25m, with the accompanying 380mm stakes sold separately in packs of 10.
